A sea of Glens. Only one original. This is the story Macallan, Glenfiddich and the rest can admire, but can never tell.

01 — The original

The bottle that started it all.

In 1823, the Excise Act made it possible to distil Scotch legally. A year later, a farmer named George Smith took the very first licence in the Speyside glen of the Livet, and put his name to it when his neighbours would not. The Glenlivet became the first legally licensed distillery in Speyside.

Everything that followed, every other Glen on the shelf, came after. Two hundred years of single malts have chased the standard George Smith set. Originality isn't something you claim. It's something you've always had.

02 — The comeback

The original, reintroduced.

A new look. The same 1824 standard. The Glenlivet steps back into the light with packaging worthy of its history, a comeback for the one bottle that never had to prove it belonged.

Not louder. Not chasing. Just the original, confident enough to let two centuries of imitation speak for it.

The only Glen with paperwork.
